It is not possible to top up a value on Gift Cards that have already been activated or refund a value on any Gift Card. When your Mobil Gift Card is used to make a purchase, your receipt will indicate the remaining balance. Pay. Pump. Go.

Pay. Pump. Go.

At selected Mobil sites we have Pay at Pump with contactless payment.
Choose how you pay for your fuel with Pay at Pump. You can insert your EFTPOS, Mobilcard or Mobil Smiles card or tap your credit card. You can earn and use your Mobil Smiles points, and/or receive any relevant fuels promotional offer with a qualifying purchase using Pay at Pump.

You can use your Mobil Smiles points for either a SINGLE $5 or $10 reward when you have earned sufficient Mobil Smiles points. If you want to redeem multiple rewards in a single transaction, please go inside the store where a cashier can assist you.

All transactions processed at the pay at pump complete a pre-authorisation from the customer's card issuer.
The pre-authorisation hold process is managed by the customers card issuing bank to ensure that there are sufficient funds to complete the transaction.
Mobil is not responsible for, and has no influence over, the time it takes for the card issuing bank to release a pre-authorisation hold.
For example a customer’s card issuing bank may place a hold of NZ$150 at the beginning of the transaction, which means the customer will not be able to purchase more than the pre-authorised amount of NZ$150 in that transaction.
If a pre-authorisation hold is not granted for any reason, for example, if the relevant account does not have the funds necessary for the pre-authorisation hold, the customer will not be able to proceed with the purchase with that selected card.
When the actual transaction is completed, the final processing time is subject to the practices of the banks and can take around 3-5 working days, however it may take longer for an overseas based credit card.
Please contact your bank if you have any questions.
