Q: How do customers enter?
A: Customers enter the promotion by purchasing $40 or more of fuel (excluding LPG) to receive a promotional voucher printed with a unique entry code or scratch card. If a purchase of $40 or more of 95/98 or Synergy Supreme 95 or Supreme+ 98 is made, customers will receive a promotional voucher with a unique code that will provide them with TWO chances to win, or TWO scratch cards. The scratch card has a panel which the customer needs to scratch to reveal their Unique Code. To enter the draw, this code needs to be texted to 5853 or entered online at promotions.mobil.co.nz.

Q: Who pays for the text message?
A: Customers pay for the text - their service provider standard text cost applies.

Q: If a customer does not have a mobile phone, can they enter the draw any other way?
A: Yes, they can call Mobil Customer Service on 0800 880 361.

Q: Can a customer enter if they pay for their purchase using Mobilcard or Fleet card?
A: The prize draw is open to personal customers, fleetcard holders and joint cardholders. LPG purchases are excluded.

Q: When will the winners be drawn?
A: Winners will be drawn as follows:

  • Winners of the daily $500 Mobil gift card will be drawn from the previous days entries beginning Wednesday, 19 July 2017.
  • After the draw has been completed, entries from that draw will be considered used and will not be included in subsequent daily prize draws.
  • The final daily prize will be drawn on Tuesday, 29 August 2017.
  • The three major prize finalists chosen to attend the ‘Boot for a Ute’ activation during the half time show will be randomly drawn from all entries received throughout the six week promotion period at 10:00 on Wednesday, 30 August 2017.
  • All entries received after 10:00, Tuesday 29 August will not be accepted into the final draw. See terms and conditions for more information.

Q: How are the winners notified?
A: The winners will be notified using the phone number they used to enter the promotion. Daily prize winners will have 24 hours from time of contact to claim their prize and major prize finalists will have 48 hours from time of contact to claim their prize, or the winner/finalist will forfeit their prize/place as a participant and a redraw will be made.

Q: What are the prizes?
A: There is one major prize of 2017 Ford Ranger XLT double cab ute including On-Road Costs (major prize) valued at NZ$63,000.00, two consolation prizes of a $1,000 Mobil gift card and 42 daily prizes of $500 Mobil gift cards. The prizes are not transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash.

Q: Do customers need their promotional voucher printed with unique code or scratch card to claim the prize if they are drawn as the winner?
A: Yes, customers must retain the promotional voucher or scratch card to claim their prize.

Q: Can Mobil employees enter the promotion?
A: No. Employees of Mobil and employees of Mobil Agents and Dealers, officers and contractors (and their immediate families) of Mobil, its related bodies corporate, participating stores, prize suppliers and agencies associated with the promotion are ineligible to enter.
